Barbara Hendricks has long since been the most French of American singers! Although she now lives in Sweden and has taken Swedish nationality, her love affair with French audiences has never been in doubt. With this programme, she offers us a unique journey into the world of sacred music. Famous musical prayers by Franck, Gounod and Ravel rub shoulders with more unusual offerings and the intimate ambiance of this programme invites us to reflection and contemplation, as well as to joy and hope. Accompanied by two formidable Swedish musicians, Björn Gäfvert (organ and piano) and Dohyo Sol (theorbo and guitar), Barbara Hendricks invites us once again to share a unique musical experience with her.
